Last night I went to see Deep Purple in the first concert on their new tour. I had really great hopes for this concert, but I was also a little anxious, because it has been a lot of years since I have heard about them doing a concert.

It started absolutely great, but then in the second number they were performing, it seemed that Ian Gillan had a lot of problems with his voice. At that point I was afraid that the concert was over.

Luckily Ian recovered splendidly, and did a close to 2 hour excellent show. GREAT.
