For the last week or so, I have been in Denmark visiting my family. For the first time I got to see my niece's daughter, that is now 4 month old. She is such a beautiful young lady. (It might be because she is family, but I do not believe so )

This is my attempt of maintaining a blog. I will try to keep you updated on where I am, what I am doing, and my thoughts on various subjects.

A little bit about myself first; I am from Denmark, 50 years old (although I do not feel it). I have been working with IT for a very big part of my life. IT and technology is still very fascinating for me.

recently (about 9 years ago) I took up photography again, this time going digital. My life has not been the same since. (this is not a bad thing though). I might put an odd picture in this blog once and a while.

Earlier in my life I have lived in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, apart from Denmark, where I grew up. I guess that has had a role in shaping me.

4 years ago I got a chance to move to Dallas in the US, and I took it. I have never regretted that, even though the business opportunities that we expected never really happened, and it got a bit more boring than I had bargained for. It was still a great experience, and I would not have missed it for anything.

6 month ago I was asked if I would move to Dubai, and I said yes. I know the United Arab Emirates pretty well, albeit mostly from Abu Dhabi. I have now been living here for 6 month and have a beautiful house with a great garden, and I love it. I have always loved warm weather, and that is one thing you can be sure to get here.
